About Me
Hi, I’m Reese Baldwin, a recent graduate of the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Finance. As Marketing and Communications Manager at a Tampa-based marketing agency, I manage client relationships, lead email campaigns and automations, analyze performance data, and support outbound sales. I also assist with content creation, social media, and project coordination. I’m now seeking an entry-level Marketing role where I can grow in a creative, fast-paced environment.
I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, where sports played a significant role in shaping who I am today. Lacrosse was at the center of my athletic journey, and I played it competitively for most of my life, dedicating countless hours to improving my skills and pushing myself to be the best. Although I also played soccer and field hockey, lacrosse was my main focus, and I developed a strong commitment to the sport. These sports taught me the importance of discipline, perseverance, and working toward a common goal. Throughout it all, my family—my mom, dad, and sister—has been my biggest support system. They’ve always encouraged me to chase my dreams, offered unwavering support, and have been by my side every step of the way.
My Passion
From a young age, I was drawn to both art and math, which might seem like opposing interests but have shaped me in unique ways. Art captivated me with its creativity and the ability to express ideas visually, while math intrigued me with its logic and structure. These two passions may have seemed unusual to combine, but they complement each other well. My love for math has contributed to my analytical side, helping me approach problems with a logical, data-driven mindset, while art has nurtured my creativity, allowing me to think outside the box and find innovative solutions. As I ventured into digital marketing, I realized how these two elements come together perfectly, enabling me to craft strategies that are both visually engaging and strategically effective.
As I grew older, my interests naturally evolved, and I realized that combining my passion for both art and math could lead to a fulfilling career. I became excited about the prospect of applying my creativity and analytical skills in a way that could make a real impact. Digital marketing became the perfect outlet for this blend, allowing me to use artistic design and strategic thinking to engage audiences and drive results. This growing passion has only strengthened as I’ve developed both my creative and analytical abilities through my courses and hands-on experiences. I am excited to apply this unique combination of skills in my future career, where I can continue to innovate, solve problems, and contribute to meaningful marketing strategies.
My Goals
One of my biggest goals is to build a career I’m passionate about in digital marketing, applying my creativity and analytical skills to make a real impact. Pursuing this path excites me, and I am committed to finding a healthy work-life balance, staying resilient under pressure while embracing continuous growth. Through my experiences, I’ve learned the importance of adaptability and self-care to stay focused and perform at my best. As I work toward my dream career, I’m also learning to manage my anxiety, finding ways to stay centered and approach each step with confidence.
Building a career in digital marketing is my passion, and I’m confident I’ll succeed because I’ve already developed strategies to manage challenges along the way. Throughout school and my courses, I’ve learned to work through my anxiety by staying organized, setting achievable goals, and focusing on growth rather than perfection. One of my biggest breakthroughs was overcoming my fear of public speaking through my Speech for Business course, where I had to develop techniques to manage my nerves and speak confidently. With persistence, I transformed a major challenge into a strength, showing me that I can overcome any obstacle. As I pursue my dream career, I’ll continue building on these strategies, approaching each step with confidence.
