Education
“Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”

Why I Attended The University of Tampa
I chose The University of Tampa’s Sykes College of Business for its reputation of excellence and AACSB Accreditation, which signals a high standard in business education. The university’s curriculum is known for integrating practical skills with academic theory, offering hands-on learning that prepares students for real-world challenges. Additionally, Tampa’s business community attracted me and motivated me to pursue my career through local internships, client-facing roles, and real-world marketing experiences that have strengthened my skills and professional focus.
Why I Joined Sigma Delta Tau (SDT)
I joined SDT because I wanted to be part of a community that values personal growth, leadership, and making a positive impact. Sigma Delta Tau’s commitment to philanthropy aligned with my belief in giving back and helping those in need. Through various charitable initiatives and community service, I developed an even greater profound sense of responsibility and even showed growth as a leader. The supportive sisterhood enriched my college experience and instilled values that shaped my personal beliefs and professional life.
Why I Joined the American Marketing Association (AMA)
Becoming a member of the AMA was a natural step in my journey as a marketing student. The AMA provided unique resources, industry insights, and networking opportunities that were invaluable to me. It taught me to stay informed about latest trends, to connect with industry professionals, and how to gain a competitive edge. Membership allowed me to participate in professional development workshops and events, which supported my growth and kept me engaged with the marketing world.
